We are currently expanding our Instructor team to work with us on a freelance basis. We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified people to add to our panel. Working At Height Instructor

The Role

  • Lead delivery of Working At Height theory and practical training

  • Conduct assessments of delegates in line with the standard learning outcomes

  • Safely lead all practical sessions and support staff

  • Responsible for planning (and if required enacting) the WAH Rescue Plan

Essential Qualifications/Experience

  • Qualified or Experienced in teaching / instructional / assessment techniques

  • Physically fit and capable of vertical ladder climbing and working suspended in a harness

  • Significant workplace experience which includes relevant working at height activity

  • Strong underpinning knowledge of Fall Protection Equipment, Relevant WAH Legislation, WAH Working & Rescue techniques

  • Capable of working at height without supervision and of supervising others

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • A positive attitude towards dealing with people

  • Computer literate with experience in PowerPoint and Office programs

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Operational experience in the Wind energy, Offshore, Maritime or related sectors

  • Hold a recognised Working at Height Instructor Qualification / Level 6 QQI Training Qualification / or equivalent

  • GWO WAH course delivery experience
