Working At Height Instructor
The Role
Lead delivery of Working At Height theory and practical training
Conduct assessments of delegates in line with the standard learning outcomes
Safely lead all practical sessions and support staff
Responsible for planning (and if required enacting) the WAH Rescue Plan
Essential Qualifications/Experience
Qualified or Experienced in teaching / instructional / assessment techniques
Physically fit and capable of vertical ladder climbing and working suspended in a harness
Significant workplace experience which includes relevant working at height activity
Strong underpinning knowledge of Fall Protection Equipment, Relevant WAH Legislation, WAH Working & Rescue techniques
Capable of working at height without supervision and of supervising others
Excellent organisational and time management skills
A positive attitude towards dealing with people
Computer literate with experience in PowerPoint and Office programs
Desirable (but not essential)
Operational experience in the Wind energy, Offshore, Maritime or related sectors
Hold a recognised Working at Height Instructor Qualification / Level 6 QQI Training Qualification / or equivalent
GWO WAH course delivery experience
